Maybe it's my sweet tooth, but I liked the analogy Warren uses about the cake. The ingredients of a cake, eaten individually, are not that appetizing - but bake them together and they become delicious! Similarly, the events in your life - good and bad - work together in God's plan to complete God's beautiful masterpiece which is uniquely you. We can be comforted in knowing that when we are facing troubles, God is right there every step of the way enduring it, entering it and overcoming it with us.
What do you think about Warren's statement "You'll never know that God is all you need until God is all you've got?"

I think that statement is so true, but it also creates a little anxiety in me when I wonder when my next "trouble" is going to come and what it will be.
