The things I loved hearing today when reading this chapter were that "God's purpose is not limited by your past" and "Hope comes from having a purpose". I find comfort in Jeremiah 29:11.

When I hear "our purpose is not limited by our past..." makes me think about what he's got in store for me next. Brandon Heath song says "Oh, He's up to something, 'cause He's not finished with me yet."

ReplyDeletePage 28 - let go of resentment - past pains can not continue to hurt you unless YOU hold on to the pain.
pg 29 - real security can only be found in what can never be taken from you - your relationship with God.
